Meals On Wheels of Stark & Wayne Counties has teamed up with the Towpath Trail YMCA in Navarre to provide meals for participants in the Silver Sneakers fitness program.
Silver Sneakers is a nationwide program designed to help older adults take greater control of their health by encouraging physical activity and offering social events. Health plans offer the program to people who are eligible for Medicare, or to group retirees.
Our agency provides meals on Tuesdays and Thursdays during the noon hour. Participants in the Silver Sneakers program sign up in advance, and we deliver the meals to the center.
