At Meals On Wheels of Stark & Wayne Counties, we welcome donations of pet food from area companies, organizations and individuals toward our sixth annual pet food drive. The pet food we collect is provided to our homebound clients for their pets.“This program makes a tremendous difference in the lives of our clients, all of whom are homebound,” said CEO Teresa Barry. “They are deeply grateful to have food delivered for their pets along with their own meals.”

Donations of dog or cat food may also be dropped off Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. at our office building, located at 2363 Nave St. S.E. in Massillon, near The Legends golf course.
We've collected more than 46,000 pounds of pet food over the past five years. Over the last 18 months, the program has grown to the point that we were able to provide pet food for the entire year. Year-round, climate-controlled storage is provided by D&S Distribution of Wooster.

The pet food drive, which runs through Dec. 31, is part of the “Season of Suppers” campaign, sponsored in part by the Banfield Charitable Trust of Portland, Ore.
